Cabot Energy (LON:CAB) has said the independent resources report on its 100%-owned and operated offshore permits in the Southern Adriatic and Sicily Channel shows they have in total over 1bn barrels of oil equivalent (Bboe). The AIM-listed oil and gas company, which is creating predictable production growth in Canada balanced with high impact exploration in Italy, said the results – as determined by Lloyds Register Senergy – showed gross prospective resources of 933mln barrels of which 793 barrels are net to Cabot.
