Plus 500 PLC (LON:PLUS) has seen good trading continue into November with the consequence that results in 2018 will be ahead of previous market expectations.
Asaf Elimelech, the futures specialist's chief executive, said he was delighted with the performance, which puts the group 'in a good position for 2019'.
Current expectations were for underlying profits of US$52m [EBIT] in the fourth quarter, says house broker Liberum, but it has now raised its estimates for 2018 by 4%. Profits are already running at its 2019 forecast run rate, added Liberuim, which also noted the ‘quiet appointment’ of the former IR of IG Group to an investor relations role.
