Cannabis company and greenhouse lessor Crop Infrastructure Corp (CSE:CROP, CSE:CROP.CN, OTCMKTS:CRXPF) said Tuesday that a tenant in Nevada has completed the harvest of 240 acres of cannabidiol hemp.

Samples have been submitted for independent testing to determine cannabidiol concentrations.

The Vancouver-based company added that it has completed site testing at the hemp-cannabidiol project and that soil is ready for 2019 planting.

Once the cannabis certificate of analysis (CoA) has been received, the CBD will be shipped to the company's partner toll processor to produce CBD isolate.

Crop Infrastructure is developing a cannabis-infused line of soft drinks with nutritional content.

Last week, Crop revealed it had hired a firm to build its Nevada facility.

An extraction tech group will build a one-ton-per-day extraction facility at its Nevada CBD farm, the group said.

On October 23 this year, Crop inked its first major supply deal for its Hempire tenant in Nevada with a  commercial extraction technology company.

Namely, a three-year, 500,000-pound-per-year (1.5 million pounds in total) deal with deliveries starting August next year.

Shares of Crop Infrastructure slipped $0.03 to $0.36 at Monday’s close on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
