The app management firm said Dr Thomas Endres, who served as CIO of the German airline from 2002-2012, was responsible for information management including strategy, shared services and security.
Endres is also currently chairman of the praesidium and executive board of VOICE, the Association of IT-users in Germany, and co-chairman of the praesidium and executive board of the European CIO Association, an independent not-for-profit representative body for large IT-users.
Another member of the advisory board is Jörg Rieker, currently a global lead partner for Deloitte's Software Asset Management Services, who will join in early 2019.
Rieker’s key competencies are the handling of software- and hardware assets as well as data strategies considering GDPR rules.
The third member of the board is Michael Buchen, who resigned as a non-executive director of appScatter to join the advisory body. He is the former managing director of Dhabi Holdings, the investment company of senior members of the ruling family of Abu Dhabi.
The company said the advisory board will support the PLC board in enhancing its offering and opportunities, particularly in securing large enterprise customers.
