The company said it had net income of $0.31 per share, while earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $0.35 per share.
The consensus analyst read was for earnings of $0.34 per share.

Net income in the three months rose to $1.51 billion, or $1.73 per share, in the third quarter ended September 30, from $1.26 billion, or $1.44 per share, a year earlier.
Meanwhile, revenue added 8% to stand at $17.44 billion.
