AFC Energy PLC (LON:AFC) said today it has agreed to grant options over 4,455,000 ordinary shares, of which 1,955,000 options have been granted to participating employees under the firm’s Enterprise Management Incentive Share Option Scheme, and 2,500,000 options have been granted to Jim Gibson, its chief operating officer. The group said the options are exercisable at a price of 8.8p per share and will vest on the third anniversary of the date of the options grant and are exercisable for seven years thereafter. AFC Energy shares jumped 52% today to 6.50p.

Kodal Minerals PLC (LON:KOD) has announced that report that a delegation of Malian officials, including the Mali Minister for Mines and Petroleum, Mrs Lelenta Hawa Baba Ba, recently visited the Shandong Ruifu Lithium Corporation lithium carbonate plant in Feicheng City, Tai'An in the Shandong Province of China. The group said the visit was organised and hosted by the company in collaboration with Kodal's major shareholder, Suay Chin International Pte Ltd together with Suay Chin's associated party, Ruifu, one of the largest lithium carbonate producers in China.
