Volt Resources Ltd (ASX:VRC) has formally received two mining licences covering 17.71 square kilometres from the Tanzanian government for its Bunyu Graphite Project in Tanzania.
The two licences cover the respective stage I and stage II developments of the Bunyu Graphite Project.
The licences are for 10 years with a right to further 10 year renewals.

Now that the mining licences have been received, the completion of the Tanzanian Note Issue for the Bunyu development is the next key milestone.
This is remaining milestone prior to Volt proceeding with front-end engineering and design work for the initial stage I operations and the ordering of long lead time components.
Concurrently with the stage I development, Volt plans to be undertaking the definitive feasibility study (DFS) on the large-scale Stage 2 expansion at Bunyu.
