Video game developer Codemasters Group Holdings PLC (LON:CDM) has released a Formula One World Championship mobile game for Apple iPhones and iPads.
The F1 Mobile Racing app features official teams, drivers and circuits from the current season. Players can develop their own F1 car to race against other drivers. Codemasters said users can compete against each other online in one-on-one races to move up the global Leagues, complete in challenges, and create single-player scenarios. The game is available for download from the Apple App Store from today and will be released on Android in coming weeks.

"Formula 1 is a truly global sport with a highly engaged and diverse fan-base. The release of F1 Mobile Racing will enable us to reach even more of those fans with a high quality mobile gaming experience that complements our F1 games for console and PC,” said chief executive Frank Sagnier.
