Frontier IP Group PLC (LON:FIPP) has recruited Matthew White, the former head of innovation at AB Sugar, as its director of commercialisation.
Frontier, an AIM-listed firm which helps universities commercialise technology, said White’s 23-year tenure at AB Sugar had involved working extensively with university partners on collaborative research programmes totalling over £20mln.

AB Sugar is a division of FTSE 100 ingredients maker and Primark owner Associated British Foods PLC (LON:ABF), and operates 24 plants across 10 countries.
Prior to joining AB Sugar, White served as director for consumer products at Sagentia limited, an international technology consulting and product development firm.
In mid-morning trading, Frontier IP shares were up 0.9% at 56p.
