Learning Technologies' COO to step down as he looks to move abroad

"I would like to thank Dale for his contribution to LTG's growth and evolution as chief operating officer and as a member of the board. I know the whole company wishes Dale and his new family the very best of success," said LTG's chairman,

Dale Solomon, who has been the chief operating officer of Learning Technologies Group PLC (LON:LTG) since 2014, is to quit the group in mid-November.

The departure is for personal reasons, as his family intends to relocate overseas. Learning Technologies Group (LTG) said Solomon has committed to not selling any of his shares this year.

Over the coming months, oversight responsibility for all the group’s central support functions will transfer to the director of operations, Nick Bowyer. Bowyer, who joined the group more than six years ago, has performed many senior roles supporting the integration of group companies.

Following the appointment of Aimie Chapple to the board of directors earlier this week as a non-executive director, the board is not intending to replace Solomon on the board of directors.

In other personnel news, LTG announced that Stephen Bruce has been appointed as managing director of its PeopleFluent business. He has served as PeopleFluent's executive vice president and chief customer officer since December 2017, having been with the business for more than nine years.

Shares in LTG were down 0.5p at 117.5p in the first hour of trading.
