Simon Pyper, who joined the group in May as the chief financial officer, has been appointed as the interim chief executive officer (CEO).
Ben Rudman, a co-founder and CEO of MMT Digital, which is part of Be Heard, has been appointed to the board and taken on the role of the group’s chief operating officer.
Non-executive chairman, David Morrison, thanked Scott for being the driving force for the company’s first few years of its development.
“Without Peter's vision and determination, Be Heard would not exist,” Morrison said.
Scott said he was delighted that his initial vision to create a multi-faceted digital marketing business had been realised in the Be Heard Group today.
“As the business moves into a new phase, focusing on an integrated offer from its five partner agencies, it is the right time for me to hand the baton on to new leadership. I look forward to supporting and advising the business in every way I can in my new role whilst continuing to develop other interests outside of the sector,” Scott said.
