Gem Diamonds Limited (LON:GEMD) has unveiled its latest significant diamond find, with the recovery of a 138 carat stone from the Letšeng mine in Lesotho.
Described as ‘the highest dollar per carat kimberlite mine in the world’, Letšeng has yielded another high-value prize.

The London-listed diamond firm told investors that the latest find is a 138 carat, top white colour Type IIa diamond.
It is the twelfth +100 carat to be unearthed at Letšeng this year, which with more than four months still to go is a record breaker for the company.
