Legend Mining Ltd (ASX:LEG) has scheduled a new moving loop electromagnetic (EM) survey over Area D at its Rockford Project in the Fraser Range region of Western Australia.
The high power EM survey will cover 32 square kilometres and is expected to take 4-6 weeks to complete.

Legend’s managing director Mark Wilson said: “This survey is the first recommendation of the geophysical review conducted at Area D.
“The review was commissioned to integrate the anomalous nickel-copper-cobalt results from the 2018 aircore drilling program with all known geophysical data and is ongoing.
“The new survey is designed to identify targets for diamond drilling in the last quarter of this year.”
Targeting massive sulphide mineralisation
The survey’s aim is to identify new conductors associated with massive sulphide mineralisation hosted by mafic or ultramafic intrusions and to better define previously identified conductors.
