IronRidge Resources PLC (LON:IRR) has carried out an additional 1,000m of drilling at Ewoyaa in Ghana after discovering extensions of lithium-bearing pegmatite not visible on the surface.
Len Kolff, IronRidge’s chief geologist said: "Drilling has identified a new pegmatite extension to the central Main Zone with an additional 400m strike length of pegmatite drilled and still open to the north, that has no obvious surface expression and occurs within a valley below recent sediment cover.

"This is significant as it increases the prospectivity of the whole project area with the potential of discovering additional 'blind' pegmatites without coincident hills nor obvious surface expression."
IronRidge is waiting for assay results from 8,000m of drilling already completed at Ewoyaa.
Regional soils and Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) is progressing steadily, it added and an exploration manager, Iwan Williams, appointed in Ghana.
