Kincora Copper bolsters board with new director

He is currently a director at Tsast Impex, the second-largest construction company in Mongolia

Junior explorer Kincora Copper Ltd (CVE:KCC) said Lewis Marks, who has lived and worked in Mongolia for 17 years, has joined as a director.

He is currently a director at Tsast Impex, the second-largest construction company in Mongolia and is a director of Steppe Gold Ltd, which in May this year, successfully completed a $25mln initial public offering (IPO) on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

The latter is expected to be a gold producer by year-end from its Altan Tsaagan Ovoo (ATO) project in Dornod province in northeast Mongolia.

Marks is a former practising and currently registered New York lawyer.

Sam Spring, Kincora's president and chief executive, said: "Kincora is pleased to welcome Lewis to the board and will benefit from his experience across the natural resource sector, including having lived and worked in Mongolia for 17 years, with extensive experience across the Asia-Pacific and copper sector."
