Gfinity enters strategic partnership with Domino’s

The AIM-listed esports broadcaster said the pizza chain would have an in-show presence across 80 hours of Gfinity’s broadcasts

Gfinity Plc (LON:GFIN) has signed a multi-year strategic partnership with pizza chain Domino’s for it to become presenting partner of the Gfinity Challenger and Elite Series UK.

The AIM-listed esports broadcaster said that under the partnership, which will run until December 2020, Domino’s will receive bespoke content, broadcast and digital assets, player shirt sleeve branding, social media activations, customer relationship management, ticketing, and hospitality.

In addition, the pizza chain would have an in-show presence across 80 hours of Gfinity’s broadcasts of the FIFA, Rocket League, and Street Fighter V game broadcasts, as well as using its own channels to promote both the Gfinity Challenger and Elite Series UK series.

The partnership is the biggest commercial deal that Gfinity has secured since its founding and follows previous partnerships with other large companies including Unilever plc’s (LON:ULVR) Lynx brand, HP Omen, and Turtle Beach.

Garry Cook, Gfinity’s executive chairman, said the deal was a “testament to the continued growth of esports and the quality of the Gfinity Elite Series”.
