Artemis Resources Ltd (ASX:ARV) continues to generate strong results in its resource expansion drill program at its Carlow Castle Cobalt Gold Copper Project in the Pilbara, Western Australia.
Best results include 6.5 metres at 23.44 g/t gold, 2.32% cobalt and 10.35% copper from 47 metres.
Artemis’s CEO Wayne Bramwell said: “These latest shallow cobalt, gold and copper assays from Carlow Castle are outstanding by any measure.
“The mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth and as such the drilling program will be expanded to further test this growing resource.”
Drilling targeting a resource increase
In early 2018, Artemis revealed an Indicated and Inferred JORC resource for Carlow Castle of 2.3 million tonnes at 1.3 g/t gold, 0.11% cobalt, 0.5% copper and 1.6 g/t gold.
The current reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drill program is targeted at infill drilling to increase resource definition.

Carlow Castle is one of Artemis’s many projects within the Karratha area of Western Australia.
Notably, Carlow Castle is about 35 kilometres by roads from the company’s 100% owned Radio Hill processing plant.

Highlights from drilling include:
• 6.5 metres at 23.44 g/t gold, 2.32% cobalt and 10.35% copper from 47 metres;
• 4 metres at 7.92 g/t gold, 0.56% cobalt and 1.11% copper from 62 metres;
• 5 metres at 2.06 g/t gold, 0.45% cobalt and 0.73% copper from 61 metres;
• 13 metres at 4.96 g/t gold, 0.39% cobalt and 1.47% copper from 62 metres;
• 26 metres at 1.81 g/t gold, 0.13% cobalt and 0.53% copper from 39 metres including 9 metres at 2.91 g/t gold, 0.31% cobalt and 0.55% copper from 39m
• 20 metres at 1.58 g/t gold, 0.15% cobalt and 0.21% copper from 7 metres;
• 16 metres at 2.14 g/t gold, 0.15% cobalt and 0.55% copper from 32 metres;
• 10 metres at 1.78 g/t gold, 0.13% cobalt and 1.71% copper from 92 metres;
• 9 metres at 2.74 g/t gold, 0.01% cobalt and 0.71% copper from 105 metres;
• 40 metres at0.83 g/t gold, 0.06% cobalt and 0.38% copper from 47 metres including 2 metres at 3.08 g/t gold, 0.07% cobalt and 0.52% copper from 47 metres;
• 19.9 metres at 1.23 g/t gold, 0.05% cobalt and 0.74% copper from 3.1 metres; and
• 6 metres at 2.92 g/t gold, 0.04% cobalt and 0.76% copper from 59 metres.
