Stavely Minerals Ltd (ASX:SVY) has received further highly encouraging gold and copper reconnaissance exploration results from its Ravenswood Project in north Queensland.
Mapping, rock-chip sampling and stream sediment sampling has been undertaken at the Connolly North and Trieste prospects, part of the Ravenwood Central group of prospects.
Latest high-grade rock-chip results returned from the Connolly North prospect include 14.8 g/t gold, 12.75 g/t gold and 0.32 g/t gold with 3.17% copper.

These follow on from previous high-grade rock-chip results from the 2017 programme which included 36.6 g/t gold from Connolly North.
Geophysical induced polarisation (IP) surveys were also undertaken over the Connolly North and Area 8 prospect areas.

The latest results have further enhanced the project’s exploration potential, delivering high-grade gold and copper assays from two key prospect areas located just 15 kilometres southwest of Resolute Mining’s (ASX:RSG) 4.8 million gold ounces Ravenswood Gold Mine.

Stavely is now planning to drill at the Connolly North and Area 8 prospects to follow up on the promising targets.
