Coinsilium Group Limited (AQSE:COIN), the blockchain technology backer, said Malcolm Burne has been appointed as a project advisor to its TerraStream subsidiary.
TerraStream was formed with the objective of creating a blockchain-powered platform to support the offering of token-based alternative funding solutions with potential applications across several industry sectors.
Burne, the founder and chairman of Golden Prospect Precious Metals, a closed-end fund and advisor to Altus Strategies and Arlington Group Asset Management, is a veteran of financial markets and has had a string of director roles at a number of listed mining companies; the initial focus of TerraStream will be on the mining industry and in particular, precious metals and natural resources extraction, so his experience should fit the bill nicely.

Burne will be working alongside TerraStream's mining sector advisor Richard Lloyd and the Coinsilium management team.
Coinsilium said TerraStream continues to make good progress in preparation for its token sale, which is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of this year.
Work has commenced on the TerraStream token modelling and token economics ahead of the drafting of the informational document, or white paper, while the company awaits the publication of specific token generation event regulations by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.
Shares in Coinsilium were unchanged at 6.75p.
