Golden Rim Resources Ltd (ASX:GMR) has discovered two broad zones of mineralisation of up to 7.7 g/t gold at its Red Hill prospect near its 1 million ounce Kouri resource in Burkina Faso.
Gold intersections from Red Hill include: 11 metres at 2.2 g/t from 77 metres, including 2 metres at 7.7 g/t, and 1 metre at 4.6 g/t from 114 metres in one hole; and 16 metres at 1.8 g/t from 29 metres and 10 metres at 2.2 g/t from 52 metres in another.

The company owns 100% of the Kouri project in northeast Burkina Faso and believes the project located on the prolific Markoye Fault system has “significant upside potential to grow”.
Golden Rim managing director Craig Mackay said: “We are excited to have made a new discovery with our first follow-up RC drilling of coincident gold-in-auger anomalies and IP chargeability high anomalies southwest of the Kouri mineral resource.”
Mackay reported the two holes were open at depth and along strike.
Next steps
