From its offices in the UK, Germany and Singapore, TAG works with industrial engineering companies to build their brands and counts sector giants National Instruments, HIMA and Atlas Copco among its clients.
Once the acquisition formally completes, TAG will trade as a member of the Publitek group and the company’s managing directors, Sylvia Laws and Ian Clay, will both join the Publitek board.
Next 15 is paying £1.9mln in cash and £0.3mln in shares up front, followed by up to £1.4mln related to certain performance milestones over the next couple of years.
“By bringing TAG into the Publitek group, we now offer clients of both businesses greater geographic reach and broaden our expertise for clients in the industrial engineering sector,” said Publitek’s founder and chairman Bob Jones.
“What’s more, the team brings valuable digital skills and experience, particularly in marketing automation.”
TAG MD Laws added: “Everything about Next 15 and Publitek feels right - it is a win-win for our clients and our people.
“Now, without compromising on our brand purpose, we have a truly global presence, stronger influence in the tech, engineering and electronics markets and even greater insight across our key markets.”
