Live Company Group Plc (LON:LVCG) shares jumped in early morning trading Tuesday after saying its BRICKLIVE Christmas show will launch in Monaco in December this year.
The AIM-listed media group said its subsidiary, Brick Live International Limited (BLI), had signed a licence agreement with Grimaldi Forum Monaco (GFM) to stage and promote the BRICKLIVE Christmas show at the Grimaldi Forum in the principality between 22 December 2018 and 6 January 2019.
The firm added that BLI would provide content on loan to GFM and would be entitled to 50% of the show’s profits after costs.
The show itself will showcase highlights from 2018’s BRICKLIVE shows, with activities including an interactive build zone, a dance zone, a Monaco build map, and brick pits in addition to several professionally constructed Animal Paradise LEGO statues alongside Christmas themed builds.
Live Company added that it had staged a pop-up at the Grimaldi forum on 9 July to announce the launch of the Christmas event and showcase five life-size LEGO models.
The launch follows a previous BRICKLIVE Christmas show that took place in 2017 at the Saatchi Gallery in London.
David Ciclitira, chairman of Live Company, said: "Following the success of BRICKLIVE Christmas in the Saatchi Gallery, we are delighted we are progressing with this event, particularly in Monaco. This is a partnership with The Grimaldi Forum and we hope that this will become a tradition for Monaco for a number of years. Over the Christmas and New Year period many come to Monaco from Cote D'Azur and Italy, so this is a key date and market for us and is a great opportunity."
Live Company shares were up 7.6% at 56p.
