Staffline Group PLC (LON:STAF) shares rose in mid-morning trading Wednesday after saying it was confident of accelerating its leadership position in the recruitment market.
In a trading update ahead of its interim results, the AIM-100 recruitment and training firm said its recruitment division had continued to perform strongly despite a tight labour market, with data from its customer experience strategy benefiting employee and customer retention rates.

In PeoplePlus, the group's training, skills, and well-being services division, Staffline said its transition away from work programme contracts remained on track and that it was benefitting from investments in the apprenticeship levy and Fair Start Scotland, an initiative to help those on income support transition into work.
As a result, the company said the developments would “accelerate our consolidation of the market in which we already have a strong leadership position”, and that it was trading in line with expectations.
Staffline will release its interim results on 25 July 2018.
