Powerhouse Energy's shares surge following weekend press report

PowerHouse Energy has developed a proprietary process technology called DMG that can use waste plastic to convert them into cost-efficient energy

PowerHouse Energy Group PLC (LON:PHE) shares rose as it confirmed weekend press reports that it is in talks with Japanese car maker Toyota.

The report suggested that Toyota is working with Powerhouse to use the UK company’s DMG technology, which turns waste into clean hydrogen.

The shares rose 3% to 0.52p as the company said it is in discussions with a number of potential industrial customers regarding the use of its technology, including Toyota, but added that no agreements have been entered into.

It added the usual caveat that there can be no certainty any agreements will be reached.
