Rumble Resources Ltd (ASX:RTR) has the drill bit spinning as it targets copper-gold at the Munarra Gully project in Western Australia.
The reverse circulation program will test a large first order conductor plate 600 metres west of the White Rose prospect as well as beneath the two White Rose open cuts.
The Munarra Gully project is around 50 kilometres north-northeast of Cue, in the Murchison Goldfields.
Modelling indicates potential chalcopyrite
Rumble recently conducted a Moving Loop Transient Electromagnetic survey which defined the 470-metre by 260-metre plate with a conductive response of 650 Siemens, a result consistent with disseminated to semi-massive chalcopyrite.
The drilling is expected to intercept the top third of the conductor.
Subject to results, the company will conduct downhole transient electromagnetic surveys of the conductor to delineate additional mineralisation targets.
Associated with ultramafic/mafic intrusion
The White Rose prospect is defined by significant copper-gold mineralisation hosted in an east-west striking ultramafic/mafic intrusion.
Shallow historic drilling returned intercepts including 40 metres at 0.66% copper and 4.85 g/t gold from surface, including 8 metres at 1.32% copper and 22.75 g/t gold from 24 metres.
Mineralisation occurs over a strike of 200 metres and is completely open.

Grab sampling by Rumble and others has identified consistent copper, gold, nickel and cobalt in weathered ultramafic/mafic rocks exposed in the two small pits, which are being mined for gold.
Sampling results included an average of 0.68% copper for all 33 samples collected, gold of up to 1.9 g/t, nickel to 0.37% and cobalt to 0.11%.
