The Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) investigation into the timeliness of a profit warning announced by Mitie Group PLC (LON:MTE) in September 2016 has been discontinued.

The FCA had also been investigating the preparation and content of the company's financial information, position and results for the period ending 31 March 2016; this investigation, which was actually focused on Mitie’s advisors rather than the struggling outsourcer, has also been dropped.
