ITV plc (LON:ITV) finance director and chief operating officer, Ian Griffiths, plans to retire in the next year, the company announced on Wednesday.
The broadcaster said it has started a search for a successor to Griffiths, who has been finance director for nearly 10 years and chief operating officer for about a year.

Chief executive Carolyn McCall said Griffths leaves ITV in “strong financial health”.
"He has helped me steer the strategy refresh and will continue to be involved in embedding the implementation over the next few months,” she said.
In the group’s last trading update in May, the company revealed first quarter revenue growth was driven by its online and content divisions.
ITV – which is behind shows such as Love Island, Coronation Street and Britain’s Got Talent – reported a 5% increase in total external revenue to £772mln.
