A ‘ceasing to be a substantial shareholder notice’ was filed at the ASX

Berkeley Energia Ltd (LON:BKY) said in a stock market statement tha Global X, formerly a major shareholder, had ‘completed the rebalancing’ of its stake in the company.

Berkeley confirmed that a "ceasing to be a substantial shareholder notice" had been filed with the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

The shareholder sold 17mln Berkeley shares via a private placement, the company said.

"We are pleased that the Global X holding has been placed with high quality institutional investors following their renewed interest in the uranium sector," said Paul Atherley, Berkeley chief executive.
