Battery Minerals prepares to outline details for debt financing

The company aims to complete construction this year at its Montepuez Graphite Project.

Battery Minerals Ltd (ASX:BAT) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX today pending the release of information regarding debt financing.

Shares in the company will remain halted until the earlier of the release of relevant information or the commencement of trading next Wednesday.

Battery Minerals is developing its Montepuez Graphite Project in the Cabo Delgado Province of Mozambique.

The company aims to complete construction works later this year followed by commissioning in the March quarter of next year.

Stage One at Montepuez will produce 45,000 to 50,000 tonnes a year of graphite concentrate, which will generate about US$25 million of net operating cash flow a year, based on current prices.
