Orosur Mining Inc (LON:OMI) has released details of its gold exploration campaign at the high grade Anzá project in Colombia.
Following success in the APTA portion of the project, where 18 recent holes confirmed consistent mineralisation, the company has now drilled five scout holes in the Charrascala area, which is one of four previously untested target and it has confirmed the presence of gold in the system.

It added that the presence of strong gold anomalies has been detected at Charrascala - with highlight results included 3.43 grams per tonne gold and 30 grams per tonne silver over 1.5 metres.
Additionally, current drilling has identified an important exploration target in the south of Charrascala and it will be a priority for follow up drilling.
“We are very encouraged with the recently completed exploration campaign at APTA and Charrascala in Colombia,” said Ignacio Salazar, Orosur chief executive.
“Drill results at APTA have extended the mineralized area at depth and along strike, while still remaining open. APTA represents only 10% of the land base of the Anzá project, which covers over 200km².
He added: “The company’s future in Colombia is looking to be off to a promising start.”
