Sunrise Resources Plc (LON:SRES) has found a second customer for perlite from its CS Project in Nevada.
A non-binding memorandum of understanding has been signed with the unnamed company that Sunrise hopes will lead to a definitive purchase and sales agreement for minimum quantities of raw perlite.
Patrick Cheetham, executive chairman, said that while that no formal agreements had yet been signed, the combined minimum annual offtake tonnages specified in the two MOUs exceeds the expected perlite production when operations get underway.
Perlite expands up to ten times when heated and because of this property it is used for cavity wall insulation and aerating soil.
