Mosman Oil and Gas sees first flows after Arkoma programmes

"We are pleased with the on-schedule progress at Arkoma and look forward to seeing flow rates in June,” said John Barr, Mosman chairman

Mosman Oil And Gas Limited (LON:MSMN) told investors that it has now seen the first flow of fluids following the installation of two Electrical Submersible Pumps at the Arkoma project in Oklahoma.

The company said that it is too early to provide oil or gas measurements, though stabilised flow rates are due at the end of June.

Flow data will inform the company’s decision over its option to potentially increase its stake in the Arkoma project to 33.3% from 27% on or before July 31.

"We are pleased with the on-schedule progress at Arkoma and look forward to seeing flow rates in June,” said John Barr, Mosman chairman.

“This is a key stage of field development and flow data will help to determine full field development, as well as providing production and cash flow from Arkoma. In the meantime, we are enjoying production and strong oil prices at Strawn and Welch."
