The AIM-listed media company said the first BRICKLIVE Kids in the country would launch at the end of 2018 at the New Yan Sha mall in Beijing after a five-year non-exclusive contract was signed by Bricklive Centre Education Technology (Beijing) Co. Ltd, Bricklive Group's joint venture partners in China, with Zhuang Xiang Education Consultant (Beijing) Company Ltd.
Live company said its BRICKLIVE Kids would be a permanent childcare crèche where children can use BRICKLIVE's brick pits under full-time supervision whilst parents shop.
The firm added that it had plans to launch five additional BRICKLIVE Kids locations over the next five years.
BRICKLIVE Kids further embeds the group into the Chinese market, and follows the opening of its second permanent BRICKLIVE centre in the country at the start of April.
David Ciclitira, executive chairman of Live Company Group, said: "The BRICKLIVE brand continues to prove its versatility and BRICKLIVE centres now feature in cities around the world in venues ranging from ski resorts to shopping malls.
He added: “LEGO bricks are used throughout Chinese educational practices and so to be able to tap into the awareness of how it can help children is a prospect we relish and one we are sure will be a huge success."
