VR Resources completes acquisition of Kraut property in Nevada

VR Resources aims to begin surface exploration at Kraut early this summer

Western-US focused junior explorer VR Resources Ltd (CVE:VRR) said it had closed its recently announced acquisition of the Kraut property in Nevada.

The firm aims to begin surface exploration at Kraut early this summer, it said.

The work will be a natural extension of its work at its Danbo property, which is around 5km away, during the past two years.

Kraut consists of six mineral claims in one contiguous block covering 124 acres and lies within the southern part of the Walker Lane belt in west-central Nevada.

The 100% interest was acquired from Nevada Select Royalty Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ely Gold & Minerals Inc (CVE:ELY).

VR said at the time of the acqusition: "While the company gears up for its upcoming follow-up drill program at Bonita, we are excited about the opportunity this acquisition provides to apply our exploration experience at Danbo to the large alteration system at Kraut.

"The drill permitting process is underway at Danbo, and we will look forward to providing details on summer exploration at Kraut when plans are in place.”

VR Resources shares nudged 2.5% higher at C$0.41 each.
