Seeing Machines Limited’s (LON:SEE) Western Australia-based distributor is to take another 2,500 of the AIM-listed firm’s Guardian in-cab driver-fatigue monitoring units.
Under the terms of the extended agreement, it is expected that Connect Source will sell and install the units to its customers over the next 18 months, with all installations set to be completed by December 2019.

The sales will also include ongoing monitoring services, Seeing Machines added.
“We have made a conscious decision to work more closely with channel partners who are able to leverage the knowledge and relationships with their customers to accelerate sales of Guardian as a safety solution for commercial fleets and transport companies,” said Seeing’s senior vice president Paul Angelatos.
“We are working very closely with Connect Source to provide them every support available to ensure their success in this region.”

The eye-tracking technology specialist is currently readying a batch of its second-generation units for shipment to a range of distributors and customers over the coming weeks and months.
Connect Source has been a supplier of Guardian in Australia for just over a year and has already enjoyed “significant success” in selling the units to its customer base.
