Prior to joining Berkeley Energia, he was director of international media and investor relations at TBC Bank, Georgia's largest universal bank.

Prior to TBC Bank, Wade was head of investor relations and group communications at Asia Resource Minerals and part of the team that managed the separation transaction and subsequent sale of the business, allowing shareholders a clean exit in a challenging environment for thermal coal.

Paul Atherley, managing director of Berkeley Energia, said: “His broad experience in communications, branding and capital markets will be a vital addition to the team as we complete detailed reviews at the Salamanca mine to ensure that optimal capital and operating costs are achieved prior to full construction commencing.

Atherley concluded: “He joins at a crucial point in our journey and we look forward to the contribution that I am confident he will make."
