The details were contained in two TSX filings stories

Fireweed Zinc Ltd (CVE:FWZ) has published details of two option deals it struck in April this year.

On April 24 this year, there was a property option between the firm and Golden Ridge Resources Ltd, in which Fireweed can acquire a 100% interest in two claim groups totalling 659 claims near the company's Macmillan Pass property holdings in the Yukon for C$500,000 in cash and 450,000 shares payable over three years.

The seller retains a 0.50% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on base metals and silver, and a 2% NSR on all other metals.

Meanwhile, on April 23 this year, the firm, along with Constantine Metal Resources Ltd and Carlin Gold Corp struck a deal, whereby Fireweed may acquire three claim groups totalling 624 claims, also near the company's Macmillan Pass property holdings in the Yukon for C$500,000 cash and 300,000 shares payable over a three-year period.

The seller keeps a 0.50% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on base metals and silver and a 2% NSR on all other metals.

An additional payment of $750,000 is due if an indicated (or better) resource of at least 2mln tonnes is reported and is payable in cash or shares.
