Daily CryptoCann Report: NYSE may trade Bitcoin; New line of hemp cat treats launches

The New York Stock Exchange is expected to begin Bitcoin trading, following Goldman Sachs' lead

It was another rough day for cryptocurrency Tuesday, still struggling to recover from the harsh words of multibillionaires Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. Four of the five top cryptocurrencies were down with only EOS on the rise.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH-USD) was the top decliner, down more than 5% to US$1,567.79.

Ripple (XRP-USD) was the second-largest decliner, down nearly 3% to US$0.80.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) fell more than 2% to US$9,159.27 while Ethereum (ETH-USD) was down nearly 2% to US$737.67.

The New York Stock Exchange is working on its own Bitcoin trading platform, according to a report by The New York Times. The details have yet to be confirmed but the initiative is being developed by the NYSE's parent company Intercontinental Exchange Inc (NYSE:ICE). Last week, Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE:GS) announced its own plan to open a cryptocurrency trading desk.

Nutritional High Intl Inc (OTCQB:SPLIF) announced that it has entered into a partnership with Xanthic Biopharm to produce cannabis-infused powders that dissolve in water for distribution throughout California. The company recommends the THC drink powders for use before, during or after a workout as a way to stimulate metabolism and promote muscle recovery. Shares were down less than one percent to US$0.27.

True Leaf Medicine International Ltd (OTCQB:TRLFF) announced its line of hemp-based cat treats.
