The OTCMarkets were mixed on Wednesday, with the OTCQX seeing slight gains.
Digital marketing company Snipp Interactive Inc’s (OTCQB:SNIPF) shares jumped more than 20% to US$0.10 after the company signed a US$515,000 two-year loyalty program extension deal with Leder und Schuh, one of Europe’s largest shoe retailers. The Toronto-based company has developed gift cards and a loyalty program for the shoe company.
Chesapeake Energy Corporation (OTCQB:CHKDG) shares fell slightly after the company reported its first quarter results. The Oklahoma-based oil and gas company beat analyst estimates as a result of increased oil and natural gas production. Shares were down nearly 2% to US$53.50.
Generation Next Franchise Brands Inc (OTCQB:VEND) shares were up more than 2% to US$2.10 after announcing US$22.3mln franchise contract with CH Capital for its patented Reis & Irvy’s Frozen Yogurt Robots. Generation Next’s California-based subsidiary Reis & Irvy’s Inc partnered with Flex Ltd to create robots capable of delivering frozen yogurt with toppings in a minute or less.
Drone USA (OTCQB:DRUS) has been awarded a US$340,000 contract from the U.S. Navy. The Connecticut-based drone manufacturer’s subsidiary Howco Distributing supplies spare and replacement parts to several federal government agencies. Shares were down more than 12% to US$0.04.
