Schroders PLC (LON:SDR) posted a 2% drop in assets under management and administration in the first quarter.
In a brief trading update, the company said total assets fell to £438.1bn at the end of March from £447mln at January 1 with declines in wealth and asset management.

In February, the blue-chip firm revealed it ended fiscal year 2017 with a 13% year-on-year increase in assets, boosted by market gains, acquisitions and inflows of fresh client money.
