KEFI Minerals plc (LON:KEFI) said it has started community resettlement at its Tulu Kapi gold project in western Ethiopia.
The AIM-listed firm said that joint committees of the company together with Ethiopian authorities have now triggered the formalisation of the resettlement arrangements for each of the affected individual households in the area.

The gold exploration and development company said it will now begin preparations for community resettlement, which flow from new Ethiopian government leadership at several levels since the appointment of the new prime minister Abiye Ahmed.
KEFI Minerals added that the Tulu Kapi gold project in western Ethiopia is being processed towards development, following the grant of a Mining Licence in April 2015.
