Bloomsbury Publishing PLC (LON:BMY) has announced the appointment of Penny Scott-Bayfield as its group finance director with effect from 16 July 2018.
The FTSE small cap firm said Scott-Bayfield will succeed Wendy Pallot who will step down from the board following the company’s AGM on that date.

The Harry Potter books publisher said Scott-Bayfield is currently a finance director of Conde Nast Britain, and prior to that she held senior finance roles at Sky PLC (LON:SKY) and lastminute.com PLC.
Bloomsbury said her appointment follows a comprehensive search process using the services of a leading independent search firm.
Commenting on the appointment, Sir Richard Lambert, Bloomsbury's chairman said: “We are very happy to welcome Penny Scott-Bayfield to the Board.”
He added: “She is an experienced finance director of a UK media company with specific experience of digital content, rapidly changing markets and growing new revenue streams.”
