Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) and Best Buy Inc. (NYSE:BBY) are making a “smart” bet you’ll want to buy your next TV from them.
The two retail giants are teaming up to sell the next generation of so-called “smart TVs,” Amazon said today in a statement on its website.

Best Buy will be the exclusive seller for more than 10 4K and HD Fire TV Edition models made by Toshiba and Insignia starting this summer.
"Amazon and Best Buy have a long history of working together, and today we take our partnership to a new level," Jeff Bezos, Amazon's founder and CEO, said in the statement.
Amazon shares rose 1% to US$1,514.36 at 9:34 a.m., while Best Buy gained 2.6% to US$74.69.
