St George Mining Ltd (ASX:SGQ) believes drill hole MAD88 comprising 10.9 metres of total sulphide mineralisation from the Mt Alexander Project in Western Australia is significant.
Pre-assay details on MAD88 were first revealed last week and official assays are still pending.

St George Mining’s executive chairman John Prineas said: “MAD88 is an important drill hole in the current program.
“The drill hole intersected massive nickel-copper sulphides approximately 100 metres to the north-east of MAD71, which supports the potential for further mineralisation in the Stricklands ultramafic, which is interpreted to have a strike of 400 metres.
“We look forward to announcing the assay results for MAD88 in due course.”
10.9 metres of cumulative nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation
MAD88 intersected ultramafic rocks from 55 metres to 73 metres downhole that included nickel-copper sulphides of 4.73 metres, 0.39 metres, 4.63 metres and 1.16 metres.
The total of nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation in MAD88 is 10.9 metres based on an aggregation of these mineralised intervals.
