James Fisher & Sons plc (LON:FSJ) said its subsidiary, James Fisher Marine Services, has been awarded a £50mln marine services contract.
The FTSE 250-listed marine engineer said the contract will be for ten years and entails the management of three vessels, oil transfer operations, buoy maintenance, and diving operations to support the UK-based refinery of an international, integrated energy company based in the UK.
Nick Henry, James Fisher chief executive, said: "This contract brings together a range of services within our Group, and reflects our strong safety record as a tanker operator and in oil transfer services."
The new contract win follows an acquisition for the group in February, when it acquired New South Wales-based recompression chamber manufacturer Cowan Manufacturing Pty Ltd for A$2.6mln.
James Fisher & Sons shares were up 1.8% at 1,548p in mid-morning trading Tuesday.
