After the carnage of yesterday, US stocks are seen opening higher and in focus today is likely to be the public listing of shares in Spotify.
The initial public offering (IPO) has been much anticipated but also quite an unusual one and analysts are reportedly not sure about what to expect.
Unlike traditional new listings, the music and streaming service will not raise new capital, instead, just list the existing shares directly on the New York Stock Exchange.
Elsewhere, Dave & Buster's Entertainment Inc (NASDAQ:PLAY), the American restaurant and entertainment business, lost 3.95% to US$40.09 yesterday ahead of today's results and lost a shade of a percent after hours too.
The 'Street' expects the firm to post quarterly earnings at US$0.6 per share on revenue of US$305.49mln after the closing bell.
Elsewhere, Long Blockchain Corp (NASDAQ:LBCC) shares added over 7% after the bell after a 13D filing from Stater Blockchain showed a 8.5% stake in the company.
Meanwhile, Switch Inc (NYSE:SWCH) reported a fourth quarter loss of US$67mln, or US$2.09 per share and revenue of US$99.3mln, missing analysts’ estimates of US$99.6mln. Shares shed almost 11% to US$14.15 after the New York bell.
