CME Group Inc, Constellation Brands, Sportsman's Warehouse Holdings - PRE-MARKET

A look at some highllght movers before the bell in New York on Thursday - the last tradinbg day of the quarter

On the final trading day of the first quarter, US shares are seen opening higher in futures trading.

Among the movers and shakers before the bell is Constellation Brands Inc (NYSE:STZ), which added 1.59% to US$224.

It comes after the wine, beer and spirits maker posted better-than-expected quarterly sales, driven by strong demand for its Corona and Modelo beers.

The latest quarter was boosted by a US$363mln gain due to the recently enacted US tax law.

Finish Line Inc (NASDAQ:FINL) added 0.79% to US$14 after the bell. It came after news that the sports shoe group would be acquired by JD Sports for US$13.50 per share, represented a 28% premium to the previous close. The firm is also poised to report numbers before the bell.

CME Group Inc (NASDAQ:CME) is also likely to be in focus today as the company, and shares in the finance group, are up 0.26% to US$159.25 before the bell as news emerged it is buying fintech company NEX Group (NEXGY) for £3.9 billion (US$5.5 billion).

Elsewhere, Sportsman's Warehouse Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:SPWH) saw shares lose 0.24% to US$4.13 after the company released better-than-expected fourth quarter sales and upbeat sales guidance.
