Verint Systems, PVH Corp, GameStop Corp and more - AFTER HOURS

Proactive Investors stayed up to take a look at after hours trade in New York

A weak finish on Wall Street was followed, after the bell, by a big rise from Verint Systems Inc (NASDAQ:VRNT).

The stock added 7.6% to US$40.25 after the Big Apple-based software company's fourth quarter numbers blew past market estimates.

It posted a net income of US$18.3mln, compared with US$8.5mln, or 13 US cents a share, in the year-ago period. Revenue rose to US$318.7mln from $295.9mln a year ago

In other extended hours news, PVH Corp (NYSE:PVH) added 2.80% to US$148.05 after the apparel company reported earnings per share (EPS) and revenues, which beat analysts' expectations.

The firm put the strong momentum down to its Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands.

Elsewhere, GameStop Corp (NYSE:GME) shares shed 2.9% after hours at US$13.74 after the video game and consumer electronics retailer announced favorable earnings.

EPS (earnings per share), revenues and same-store sales were all higher than analysts had expected in the fourth quarter.

On Thursday (today), Wall Street shares are seen opening higher in futures trade.
