A number of companies have been garnering interest after hours, which saw the Wall Street plunge on Thursday by 724 points after President Donald Trump unleashed trade tariffs of up to US$60bn against China.
The fear of a global trade war between the US and China is keeping investors nervous.
Nike Inc (NYSE:NKE) was up 5% after hours after releasing rather impressive earnings. The company said its EPS or earnings per share beat market estimates by 15 US cents while revenues outclassed analysts' consensus by US$130mln.
Micron Technology Inc (NASDAY:MU) shares moved the other way after hours, slipping 7% despite its earnings report released after market, which managed to beat market estimates both on the top and bottom lines.
KB Home (NYSE:KBH) managed to see a 1% gain, clawing back some in extended trading after its earnings. The homebuilding company's revenues missed Wall Street's expectations.
HealthEquity Inc. (NASDAQ:HQY) was also on the way down, losing more than 1% after hours, after the company's chief financial officer Darcy Mott sold 9,500 shares in the company, with Vice President Dreier Ashley also following suit with the sale of 71,157 company shares.
Cintas Corp (NASDAQ:CTAS) was on the up and up, gaining 3% after hours, following market-beating earnings and revenue numbers.
