Legend Mining Ltd (ASX:LEG) has commenced aircore drilling at its Rockford Project in the Fraser Range of Western Australia.
Drilling will comprise 100 holes for 8,000 metres and concentrate on multiple targets at Area D and the immediate surrounds.
The initial focus will be on nickel-copper mineralisation identified in holes drilled in November 2017.

Drilling will provide valuable data on the geological profile of the target area.
It will also provide data to enable selection and prioritisation of areas for the next phase of high power electromagnetic (EM) surveys.
The drilling is expected to take up to three months to complete.
Fraser Range is home to the Nova-Bollinger discovery
The Rockford project is located in the globally renowned Fraser Range district of Western Australia and covers an area of 2,792 square kilometres.
The Fraser Range is host to the nickel-copper sulphide Nova-Bollinger deposit.
The majority of the 2,792 square kilometre Rockford project comprises seven contiguous exploration licences and is the subject of a joint venture between Legend (70%) and Creasy Group (30%).
Legend operates and manages the joint venture.
The remaining portion of 262 square kilometres is 100% owned by Legend and includes five exploration licences.
